Implementation of curfew and peoples’ outlook in Barangay Buenavista, Bansalan, Davao del Sur

Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the level of the implementation of curfew and peoples’ outlook in Barangay Buenavista, Bansalan, Davao del Sur. The researchers aimed to determine the level of outlook of the residents of Barangay Bansalan, Davao del Sur on the implementation of the curfew. The study was conducted using the descriptive-correlation method. The researchers personally administered the questionnaires to the residents of Barangay Buenavista, Bansalan, Davao del Sur with 167 participants as respondents. The result of the implementation of the curfew was described as moderate, as well as to the peoples’ outlook on the implementation of curfew. The significant relationship between level of implementation of curfew and peoples’ outlook in Barangay Buenavista, Bansalan, Davao del Sur was tested at 0.05 level of significance. Thus, the decision on HO: was significant, which means that there was a significant relationship between the two variables. Based on the findings and conclusions of the research, the researchers would recommend that every resident should follow the law implemented and the municipal ordinances imposed by the government and municipality and to cooperate with the law enforcers. Furthermore, information campaign programs regarding ordinances must be strengthened through intensive announcement and post these in strategic places and enforcement of ordinances must be revisited for the better implementation of curfew law.
