Leadership and professional learning community
Abstract
This study determined the domain of leadership that best influences professional learning community of teachers. It employed a quantitative non- experimental research design using a correlational technique. A universal sampling technique was used involving 109 public elementary school teachers of Cluster 1 of Digos Oriental District of Digos City Division. Mean, Pearson rand Regression were the statistical tools used in the study. Correspondingly, the study verified that the overall level of leadership is high. Thus, it also exposed a very high level of professional learning community. In the final analysis, a significant relationship between leadership and professional learning community was revealed. On a similar note, the study found out the significant influence of all three domains of leadership to professional learning community. Transactional leadership is the domain of leadership that most significantly influence professional learning community.
