dc.description.abstract | This paper further analyzed the results of a survey conducted to the women inmates confined at Digos City Jail, Digos City, Davao del Sur under the care of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology by employing a descriptive correlation method to determine the level of BJMP Programs implemented and satisfaction of women inmates in the level of BJMP Programs. The result of the investigation on the data reveals that the level of BJMP Programs gained a high status and the level of satisfaction of women inmates in the implemented BJMP Programs also obtained a high status. The analysis further shows that there is significant difference between BJMP Programs implemented and satisfaction of women inmates in the implemented BJMP Programs which implies that the satisfaction of women inmates on the BJMP Programs implemented, who are the major stakeholders of the programs implemented, are greatly influenced on how the satisfaction of women inmates on the BJMP Programs are implemented. This study therefore highly recommends that to further enhance the implementation of the BJMP Programs, the BJMP management must regularly evaluate the programs to ensure that the purpose and goals of the programs are met as mandated to them. BJMP personnel assigned to implement the BJMP Programs must undergo skills trainings and seminars corresponding to the program they are assigned to gain more knowledge and skills in terms of inmate custody, security and control program, inmate welfare and development program and decongestion program. | en_US |
