The Role of Financial Incentives on Employee Motivation of Samal Island Multipurpose Cooperative

The purpose of this study was to look at how financial incentives influence the employee motivation of Samal Island Multipurpose Cooperative. The study was a quantitative descriptive correlational research design. Regression analysis and descriptive correlation were used to analyze the data. The data was gathered through survey questionnaires and distributed to 71 employees in the Samal Island Multipurpose Cooperative (SIMC). The result showed that the financial incentives, salary, and bonus generated a very high mean score and were very important to the employees. While employee motivation had a high mean score and shows that the items are evident.
Moreover, there was a significant relationship between financial incentives and employee motivation. In addition, the indicator staff loan of financial incentives best influences employee motivation. To make employees more motivated, Samal Island Multipurpose Cooperative (SIMC) must maintain and enhance its strategy to motivate employees to do their work in the organization.
