| dc.description.abstract | The study Personal Financial Management and Retirement Planning Behavior was conducted to determine the level of financial management and retirement planning behavior of Teachers at Samal National High School in the Island Garden City of Samal. This study was a quantitative descriptive correlation research design. The statistical tools used for this study were Mean and Pearson r. The data was gathered with survey questionnaires and was distributed to 40 regular teachers in Samal National High School. The result showed that the level of financial management generated a total mean score of 3.49 with a standard deviation of .64, described as a high level, and showed that the items were oftentimes manifested. At the same time, retirement planning behavior generated the total mean score, which is 3.42 with a standard deviation of .45, described as a high level and shows that the items were oftentimes manifested. Nevertheless, the findings concluded that personal financial management does not affect the level of retirement planning behavior of the teachers as they work differently based on the result that there is no significant relationship between personal financial management and retirement planning behavior of the teachers in Samal National High School | en_US |
