dc.description.abstractThis study determined which level of instructional leadership behavior of school heads best influences the level of work task motivation of teachers in Maragusan, Compostela Valley, Philippines. It was conducted from January 2017 to July 2017. The study employed the descriptive-correlational method. The respondents were 240 teachers and 34 school heads determined using the universal sampling procedure. Mean, Pearson r and Regression Analysis were the statistical tools used in this study. Moreover, adapted survey questionnaires were used for the level of instructional leadership behavior of school heads. The result showed that the level of instructional leadership behavior of school head was very high and the level of work task motivation was also high. The combination of the domains of instructional leadership behavior of school heads contributed to its significant influence on work task of teachers but the domain that best influenced the latter is coordinating curriculum in its singular capacity.
