EFFECTIVENESS OF BPAT IN BRGY. SAN JOSE

Abstract

The study aimed to find out if there is a significant difference in the effectiveness of BPAT in Barangay San Jose, Digos City when participants are analyzed by sex, age, and years of residence. The study employed a descriptive method of research wherein an adapted validated questionnaire is administered to 315 participants. Results of the study revealed the following: (1) the participants of the study are predominantly female, age is between 42- 49 years old and were residing for 10 to 17 years; (2) the participants perceived a high level of effectiveness of BPAT; and (3) the effectiveness of BPAT is not significantly different when participants are analyzed by sex, age, and years of residence. With these findings, the local government of Barangay San Jose are recommended to conduct various seminars and trainings to enhance the capability of BPAT. Furthermore, residents are also encourage to give importance in the peace and order in the barangay, for them to cooperate and have a good relationship between the government and the people in the community.
