dc.description.abstractThis study was conducted to determine the causes of juvenile delinquency as perceived by the students of UM Bansalan College. Using the descriptive correlation method of research by which the researchers personally administered the question to the student with the sample size of 100 participants as respondents resulted in data gathered. Most of respondents belong to the age of 16-18 old, male and BS-Criminology and BS-Business Administration students and the level of perceived causes of juvenile delinquency 3.73 is high. The overall p-value is 0.001 or significant for the p-value is lower than 0.05 alpha level. Such resulted that there is a significant correlation between the level of the causes of juvenile delinquency as analyzed by age group. Recommendation is for the teenagers now from being delinquent especially when the family doesn’t show any care to their sibling, the teens must be guided by their parents or guardians in order for them to feel safe, cared and loved by them. Furthermore, the parent, guardians and the school must have the encouragement, the cooperation for their responsibilities to the teens, for their future and especially in making decisions.en_US
