dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to determined the level of police visibility in crime prevention in Barangay Zone II and to know the relationship of the level of police visibility towards the level of crime prevention. The study employed a descriptive-correlation research design. It was used in this study to find the significant relationship between the level of police visibility and crime prevention. The participants were the residents of Brgy. Zone Il and the police officers of Digos City. Results show that the overall level of crime prevention got the mean of 3.13 which also means much effective, this indicates that the scale of peace and order maintenance is high which shows a strong relationship of the police and the community. It is recommended that police patrol unit should regularly conduct motorcycle, mobile and foot patrol in Brgy. Zone II to serve as deterrence to perpetrator. The Barangay Zone II must organize Barangay Patrol Action Team and construct outpost situated strategically in the barangay. Local government unit should allocate budget for patrol activities. Barangay officials need to promote a crime prevention program in Brgy. Zone II in cooperation with law enforcement agency through crime prevention orientation to their constituents.en_US
