CRIME RATE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF STA.MARIA FOR THE YEAR 2014-2016

Abstract

This research used the data gathering method by which the researchers used secondary data from the committed crimes in the Municipality of Sta. Maria for the year 2014- 2016. This research was conducted to determine the Crime Rate in the Municipality of Sta. Maria, year 2014-2016. The researchers aim to determine the trend of Crime Rate in the Municipality of Sta. Maria from the year 2014-2016. The researchers found out that the crime commonly committed in the Municipality of Sta. Maria was Physical Injuries, which is part of the index crimes, the crime rate in Sta. Maria on the year 2014 was high; and there is a significant difference in the crime volume from the year 2015-2016.
