The main concern of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the PNP in the community. Specifically, it sought to answer the level of effectiveness of community policing programs provided by the Police Community Relation in terms of: Patrol Operations, Traffic Investigations and Crime Investigations, the level of community building efforts in Digos City in terms of: Support, Participation, and Safety and Security and also the significant relationship between the level of effectiveness of community policing programs and the level of community building efforts in Digos City. The result of the survey conducted by the researchers is the level of effectiveness of community policing programs in Digos City in terms of patrol operations , traffic investigation and crime investigations obtained an overall mean score of 4.38, in the level community building efforts in Digos city in terms of support, participation and safety and security obtained an overall mean score of 4.39 and it is found that there is a significant relationship between overall Community Policing Programs and overall Community Building Efforts.
