dc.description.abstractThe researchers conducted this study to further assess and evaluate the Perception of child labor among academicians. a descriptive research design Is used in this study The researchers administered survey questionnaires to 54 academicians with permission from the school. The results of the Perception of child labor among academicians in terms of demographic profile Of the participants revealed that male academicians have the highest number Of participants which is 29. As to age, 20-27 age group got the highest Population. Lastly, department of teacher Education got the highest Participants in terms of the department. Moreover, in terms of the perception Of child labor, educational aspect, social aspect and legal aspect has an Overall mean of 3.35 which mean undecided. Additionally, it was revealed That there is a significant difference in the perception of child labor when the Participants are grouped according to age, but none in terms of sex and Department. Therefore, the null hypothesis is failed to be rejected. It is Recommended that the city government of Digos should strictly enforce the Republic Act 7610. Also, the pantawid pamilyang Pilipino program should be Provided to the families who are suffering child labor. The parents and guardians must not allow their children be involved in hazardous work and should sent their children to school.en_US
