The study aimed to find out if there is a significant difference in the perception on the implementation of EO No. 26 series of 2017 in public places when participants are analyzed by sex and age. The study employed a descriptive method of research wherein an adapted validated questionnaire is administered to 350 participants. Results of the study revealed the following (1) the participants of the study are predominantly male and where age is between 18-25 years old; (2) the participants have a high level of perception in the implementation of EO No. 26 and (3) the perception on the implementation of EO No. 26 is significantly different when participants are analyzed by sex and age. With these findings, the local government units are recommended to strictly implement this law and encourage them to develop ordinances related to this law. Furthermore, residents are also encourage to participate in the implementation to have an environment that is free from pollution which can affect the health of entire human race.
