This study sought the perception of Criminology students on the extra- judicial killings (EJKS) in the Philippines. Using a qualitative method of study, the study employed in-depth interview with selected Criminology students of UM Digos College and thematic analysis to categorize the results. Results revealed that EJKS led to the loss of trust by the community to the existing government. Moreover, the main disadvantage that the respondents perceived was the disturbance of the peace and order in the community. However, one advantage that the respondents saw was the reduce crime rate, brought about by the controlled drug syndicate and a strong prevention strategy. This study recommends that the PDEA and the different educational institutions, with the cooperation of the government, should conduct seminars and symposium in every towns and barangays to educate the people especially the youth regarding.en_US
