dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to explore the stressors and attitude among Non-Commissioned police officers in Digos City. Additionally, the study sought to answer the relationship of the stressors and attitude in police organization. With the employment of descriptive-correlational research design, spearman rho as the statistical tool, 108 Non-Commissioned Police Officers in Digos. City Police Station were randomly selected. The results revealed that 58.3% female and 41.7% male police officers participated, majority of them have the rank of Patrolman/ Patrolwoman, their age is ranging from 26-30 years old and, have 5 years or less working in police force. It was also revealed that the participants moderately experienced administrative/ professional and physical/ psychological stressors, yet, very rarely experienced stress from lack of support. Moreover, police attitude was seldom observed among the participants. It was further found that there is a positively significant relationship between the stressors and attitude of the police officers, which indicates that increasing the stressors will contribute to the increase of their attitudes and vice versa. | en_US |
