Inmates are human beings, and whether they are guilty or not, they deserve to be treated as human beings, the ones in-charge to watch over them must understand this concept. The study was conducted to evaluate the BJMP personnel performance in Digos City. Digos City. Questionnaires were administered to 94 inmates in Digos City jail. The result of the study revealed that majority of the participants are within the age of bracket 36 to 45, most inmates are elementary level only and married, and have been staying in detention for 1 to 3 years; the level of evaluation of BJMP personnel performance is very high; there is a significant difference on the evaluation of BJMP personnel performance when analyzed according to length of stay, and there is no significant difference on the evaluation of BJMP personnel performance when analyzed according to age, educational attainment and marital status. The researchers recommend the BJMP administrators may continue to fulfill their responsibilities through the jail guards, which mean that they will always enforce the rules and regulation for inmates according to the book, no more no less.
