Abstract
The study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of inmate's rehabilitation program in Digos City District Jail (BJMP). The study was conducted using descriptive - correlation method of the research by which researchers administered question to 50 inmates in Digos City Jail. This study used survey questionnaire as a toll in gathering data. The questionnaire is composed of two parts to answer the various research questions. Part II dealt on the profile of the respondents such as Age, Civil status, Occupation, Educational attainment, Case committed, And Number of years in jail. Part consist of 25 items describing the services of (BJMP) in Digos City to the inmates particularly in Educational program, Livelihood program, Religious program and Recreational program. Each question composed of 5 items. The item enumerated in the questioner was validated by the expert, purpose of its validity, content and reliability. Based on the foregoing findings and conclusion, the level of effectiveness of inmate's rehabilitation is high when it comes to educational, religious, livelihood, and recreational programs. It suggested that they learned so much from the educational program of the bureau, had freely exercised their faith, prepared them to be ready to support their family through handicraft skills, and reformed them to be better citizens through sports and related activities.
