Vehicular Accident Along Digos - Sta.Cruz Superhighway from Fiscal Year 2016-2018

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the vehicular accident along Digos-Sta. Cruz Superhighway from fiscal year 2016-2018. We used secondary data to determine the profile of the participants involved in vehicular accident occurred at Digos-Sta. Cruz Superhighway. Descriptive method was used as research design in this study. A set of data was given by the police station in Digos and Sta. Cruz Police Station to determine the frequency related to vehicular accident in the year 2016-2018. Afer gathering and interpreting the data, the researchers found out that most of the vehicular accident that has been recorded by the PNP is due to reckless imprudence resulting to malicious mischief. It is also recommended that the City of Digos and the Municipality of Sta. Cruz should create programs dealing with traffic management and road safety to educate them about the extent of the vehicular accident in Digos-Sta. Cruz.
