| dc.description.abstract | This study examined the level of organizational stressors in terms of co- workers relations, training and resources, leadership and supervision, bureaucracy, internal affairs and accountability, and management and organizational capacity. Besides, the study scrutinized the level of coping strategies of the participants in terms of submissive coping, functional coping, diversion coping, relaxation coping, third-party support coping, cognitive restructuring coping, and transitory reinforcement coping among the Digos City Police Personnel. Also, it investigated the significant relationship between organizational stressors and coping strategies. The study used a descriptive- correlational research design with a sample of 136 Digos City Police Personnel selected using a simple random sampling employing mean and Pearson product-moment correlation as statistical tools. Results showed that the level of organizational stressor is moderate, which means that the participants sometimes experience this variable. In terms of coping strategies, it is also described as moderate, which implies that the police personnel oftentimes practices this strategy. There is a significant relationship between the two variables. The higher the organizational stress, the higher is the coping strategies applied. | en_US |
