This study aimed to give awareness about the fire safety and security for destructive fire among students, faculty and staff and the employees of UM Digos College. To prevent fire accidents that may lead to injuries and damage to property. The study used a descriptive survey design to find out the prevention of destructive fires in UM Digos College in Digos City. The survey was done through collection of data from the three laboratories and maintenance office with a permit to authorize the collection of data. The study found that the firefighting equipment and hazardous chemicals used in the laboratories are in good condition and complete for prevention of destructive fires, if there's certain accident that may happen at the school everyone is prepared to handle them safety and effectively. The researchers recommends that all buildings for maintenance and laboratories should be monitored monthly according to the rules and guidance on fire prevention measures.
