Financial management practices and sustainability leadership of micro medium entrepreneurs in Kidapawan City
Abstract
The study aimed to determine the significant influence of financial management practices to the sustainability leadership of the micro, small and medium entrepreneurs. Utilizing quantitative non-experimental research utilizing correlational technique, the study was conducted with 200 entrepreneurs in Kidapawan City as the respondents of the study. Mean, Standard Deviation, Pearson R, and Regression were the statistical tools used for the data treatment. Results showed a high level of financial management practices in terms of financial reporting analysis, fixed assets management, working capital management and capital structure. The study revealed that the sustainability leadership of entrepreneurs is very high in terms of economic practices, environmental practices and social practices. Furthermore, there was a significant relationship between financial management practices and sustainability leadership. The result revealed that financial reporting analysis is the domain of the financial management practices that best influenced sustainability leadership of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs.
