The utilization of DepED computerization program and teaching effectiveness
Abstract
The study aimed to find out which domain of utilization of DepED computerization
program significantly influences teaching effectiveness. The non-experimental
quantitative research design using correlational technique was used in this study and
the statistical tools were mean, Pearson r, and regression. An adapted survey
questionnaire measured the level of utilization of DepED computerization program
and teaching effectiveness. There were 361 junior high school students from
Crossing Bayabas National High School who were the respondents of the study.
Findings revealed that the utilization of DepED computerization program was high
and the teaching effectiveness was moderate. The result further showed that
utilization of DepED computerization program is significantly correlated with teaching
effectiveness. It was noted that among the indicators of utilization of DepED
computerization program, teaching and learning activities by subject best influences
teaching effectiveness.
