dc.description.abstractThis study determined the significant influence of teachers’ efficacy on the students’ motivation in Science. The non-experimental quantitative research design using correlational technique was used in this study and the statistical tools were the mean, Pearson r, and regression. An adapted questionnaire measured the level of teachers’ efficacy and students’ motivation in Science. There were 300 respondents of the study from the four secondary schools in the Third District of Davao City. Findings revealed that teachers’ efficacy was high and the students’ motivation in science was also high. That means that teachers in those schools are very good in instructional strategies, classroom management and student engagement. The result further showed that teachers efficacy significantly correlated with the students motivation in Science. It was found out that all the indicators of teachers efficacy significantly influence students motivation. But among all indicators, instructional strategies best influences students’ motivation in Science. Keywords: education, teacher efficacy, students’ motivation, science, Philippinesen_US
