College students' perceptions and attitudes towards computer laboratory learning environment

Abstract

Computer laboratory learning environment impacts college students’ performance in computers. Using this technology, their perceptions and attitudes towards it need to be examined. It was the intent of this research to examine the perceptions and attitudes of college students towards computer laboratory learning environment. This was also to find out whether there was an association among learners’ views of their computer laboratory learning environment and their feelings concerning computer and computer course. The survey questionnaires were given out to 115 ICT learners in a private university in Davao City. The findings revealed that students held positive views and attitudes towards computer laboratory learning environment. In addition, there were significant associations among learners’ views regarding the computer laboratory learning environment and their feelings towards computer and computer course. Recommendations were discussed further.
