StuFAPs : a cross platform application for student financial assistance program office of Commission on Higher Education

Abstract

In this paper, we depict our University’s experience based on the institutionalization of providing the computing solutions to government office current processes. We found that the online cross-platform application with the implementation of data visualization and importance performance matrix analysis is beneficial in extending their scholarship services to students not only in urban but also in the remote areas. The workload of CHED Scholarship personnel hastens in terms of validating the requirements and ranking the applicants. We also noted an increasing trend in the submission of online applications within a period of time. With the findings of the analysis of this study, we recommend some concerns and strategies in integrating appropriate tool for the enhancements of the applications.
