dc.description.abstract | This research study entitled “SATISFACTION ON ONLINE MODE OF LEARNING AND ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF GRADE 5 STUDENTS OF ANGEL VILLARICA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL” was conducted to sought the significant relationship between students’ satisfaction on the online mode of learning and their academic performance. The responders were all forty-three (43) enrolled AVCES Grade 5 pupils. The results of this study enabled the researchers to collect data, assess it, organize it, and conduct appropriate analysis. Because the objective of the current study was to respond to quantitative research questions, data gathering and analytic techniques from that research methodology were utilized. To determine whether there is a relationship between two or more variables, the researchers utilized a descriptive-correlational approach. To evaluate the association between the aforementioned variables, the statistical tools mean and Pearson-R were used. The 43 respondents' overall mean score for the students' level of satisfaction was 3.49, which is considered to be at a Very High level of satisfaction, meaning that the online learning completely satisfies the needs and satisfaction of the respondents. The respondents' overall mean score for academic performance was 84.60, which is considered satisfactory and demonstrates that pupils passed all of the study areas from Quarter 1 through Quarter 4. The Pearson-R statistical method was employed in this study, and the researchers discovered that there is no significant correlation between students' academic achievement and how satisfied they are with the use of online learning. The null hypothesis is accepted since the P-value is greater than the margin of error. This indicates that there is no relationship between students' pleasure with the online way of learning and their academic success.
According to the findings, the researchers encourage parents to supplement their children's online learning with hands-on activities like reading books, playing with clay or building blocks, and painting, while kids should still enjoy their online classes. The motivation of the students and other factors that influence their degree of satisfaction could be properly used by future researches. | en_US |
