dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this research was to gather information in exploring the Academic Behavioral Confidence of BEED students of UM Penaplata College. The researchers used online survey questionnaires as an instrument and used Descriptive-Comparative research design. The respondents of this study are 62 students of 3rd year and 4th year BEED, which compose of 15 male and 47 female; 45 students’ are 18-23 years old and 17 students’ are 24 years old and above; and 46 third year students and 16 fourth year students. The researchers used the adapted research questionnaire from the study of Sander & Sanders (2009) which based on the six indicators: grades, verbalizing, studying, attendance, understanding and requesting. The result of this study showed, the level of academic behavioral confidence is at a confident level and there is no significant difference on academic behavioral confidence when grouped according to gender, which conclude that the females are more confident in their understanding and their analysis compared to male. The result also showed, there is no significant difference in academic behavioral confidence according to age which concluded that no matter what the students’ age was, their confidence is still the and not having much problems related to their studies. Lastly, the results revealed, there is a significant difference in academic behavioral confidence according to year level which concluded that 4th year students are more self-assured than the 3rd year students are. Students are encouraged to build a strong determination to foster the school performance in a different perspective in the class. In addition, the future researchers should improve their ability in research using this as, a reference in their study. | en_US |
