The purpose of this study is to measure if there is a significant relationship between self-directed learning and academic achievement of BEED students in UM Penaplata College. The study is a descriptive correlational design and uses Pearson-Product moment of correlation. There are 46 students who participated and answered the survey. The result shows that the 46 respondents' self-directed learning level was high in terms of setting their own goals for what they will learn and the level of the students’ academic achievement in an online class was above average. However, there is no significant relationship between self-directed learning and the academic achievement of the students. Along with the result of our study, the researchers recommend continuing the concept of self-directed learning to help the students develop the skills and confidence to learn in all environments, especially in online learningen_US
