The study was conducted to investigate the level of work challenges of selected Tour operators in Davao City. 30 respondents were chosen and their responses served as the needed data for the study. The said data were treated statistically using Frequency Count, Percentage, Mean and ANOVA. The result of the study is presented as follows: There is a moderate level of work challenges among of tour operator. Furthermore, results showed that number of employees and year of operation did not lead to significant difference of work challenges. The implication of the study is for the tourism industry to focus on reaching more countries to promote the Philippines, particularly Davao City, considering that the degree of difficulties experienced by tour operators is just moderate means they have more time focusing on promoting the tourist spots, particularly that the new administration is assisting the tourism industry by building infrastructures and adding fast means of transportation. Also, a close collaboration should take place among tourism related businesses wherein stakeholders involved in tourism will offer one payment term for the entire duration of the tourists stay for a certain period of time. This would lessen the burden of the tourists in handling cash and computing the equivalent of their currency to the Philippine currency. Also the security measures implemented by the government is complied upon by the tour operators to ensure the safety of the tourists. Keywords: Work Challenges and Tour Operatorsen_US
