This study aims to determine the level and significant difference of financial behaviour of household heads according to age, sex, income and educational attainment of household heads of Barangay Mambago-A Samal District, Island Garden City of Samal. It also aims to evaluate the financial attitude and management of the respondents. This study employed quantitative research design. The statistical tools were Mean, T-test, Anova and Standard Deviation.The data were gathered through the use of survey questionnaire distributed to 250 household heads in Brgy Mambago-A Samal District, Island Garden City of Samal. Result showed that the level of financial behavior among household heads got a low mean score and shows that the items are rarely evident. Moreover, study findings indicated that in the financial behaviour indicators, the variables such as age, sex, income and educational attainment have no significant difference towards financial behaviour. It was further stressed that household heads of Brgy. Mambago-A were financially incompetent in displaying their financial behaviour. This study recommended that the Local Government Unit (LGU) should strengthen the implementation of the livelihood programs and training seminars in every household heads in order for them to be better individuals in managing their finances and spending money matters.
