LEVEL OF SUPPORTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT PROVIDED BY THE TEACHERS OF TAGBITAN-AG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Abstract
The study entitled Level of Supportive Learning Environment Provided by the Teachers of Tagbitan-ag Elementary School was conducted to determine the level of supportive learning environment provided by the Tagbitan-ag Elementary School teachers. Descriptive research design was used to conduct the study. The respondents of the study were all of the teachers in Tagbitan-ag Elementary School, nine in total. Data were analyzed and interpreted using Average weighted mean as statistical tool. According to the findings of the study, data revealed that the result in the level of all the domains: Sharing and comparing knowledge, Relevance and Self-control and self-reflection in the learning environment provided by the teachers of TES teachers was very high. The interpretation in the level of supportive learning environment provided by the teachers of Tagbitan-ag Elementary School marked as Very high reveals that the teachers encourages their students to share and compare their knowledge, give students real-world relevance, and also encourages their students to reflect on what they’ve learn and be proactive and self-control learners. Furthermore, the researchers recommend that the Tagbitan-ag Elementary School teachers have enough skills and knowledge in providing a supportive learning environment that will make their students more satisfied and an environment that serves as their second home that tend students to perform better because they can feel that their teachers care and support them. This study intends to enhance the body of research as it relates to the students’ learning in the learning environment of elementary school.
