The findings revealed that the participants understand NCLB as a policy that promotes right to education to all Filipino and through this policy every Filipino student has greater chances of promotion. Students are being catered more by the teachers too. However, this policy leads to mass promotion which, for the participants, brings negative implications such as promotion of undeserving student and their difficulty to cope up with higher grade level. In terms of implementation, the participants exert more effort through giving remediation and interventions to the low-performers and pass the students for the sake of school performance.
