Type of Test: Factor Affecting Spelling Competence of Grade V Students in Angel Villarica Central School
Abstract
The study was conducted to determine if the utilization of these Types of Test: Multiple Choice Test and Dictation factors the spelling competence of the students. A quantitative design was used in the study. The essential data were gathered from a total number of 36 respondents, with the aid of the validated questionnaire. Data were analyzed and interpreted using the average weighted mean and T-test as statistical tools. According to findings of the study, data revealed that the result mean score using Multiple Choice Test and Mean Score using Dictation in Spelling competence is significant. The result showed that there is a substantial difference in the spelling competence of using Multiple Choice test and Dictation.
