This study aims to determine the significant difference in the level of
financial literacy of people of IGACOS. It also seeks to explore the
respondent's financial attitude and financial skills; this study employed a
quantitative descriptive comparative research design. The statistical tools
were Mean, T-test, and ANOVA. The hypothesis was at 0.05 level of
significance. The data were gathered through the use of Google form survey
questionnaires distributed to 200 people of IGACOS. Study findings indicated
that, on average, the financial literacy of IGACOS is more manifested in their
financial attitude than in their financial skills. It signifies that there is no
significant difference in the financial literacy of people of IGACOS when
analyzed according to gender. Thus the hypothesis is accepted. This study
recommended to the people of IGACOS not be contented with a moderate
level of financial literacy. They should aim to attain a higher degree of
financial literacy by making themselves available for financial awareness
seminars.
