Abstract
Inland resorts are essential to be the best place to relax and enjoy were many people want to be safe and secure in their comfortable stay during their vacation. In this challenging time of disasters that could possibly happen within seconds, risk management of disasters issue, awareness, ignorance, and increasing lack of security and safety like robbery, terrorism, and crimes are important to be enhance. This study aims to determine the significance of risk management in selected inland resorts to create a reminder and prevent some incidents, issues, crises and to determine the level of risk management. This study was conducted to distinguish the risk management of selected inland resorts in Davao City. The researchers employed descriptive methods, and a survey questionnaire was used as an instrument data gathering. In this study, the researchers have three indicators for the respondents to base their risk management, specifically physical security, information security and the other one is administrative security. These factors were purposely picked to serve as an indicator in determining the level of risk from some specific inland resort in Davao City. Result revealed that the level of risk management of selected inland resort in Davao City is high. Physical security was considered by the respondent as high and followed by, administrative and lastly the informative security considered by the respondents as moderate.
