Abstract
The main objective of this study is to measure the purchase preference and service experience of medical spa in Davao City. The researchers utilized descriptive survey research design using Frequency Count Percentage, Mean and Pearson-R. A convenient sampling technique was used to select the sample. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed at 5 participating medical spas in Davao City. The findings disclosed the following: the majority of the respondents are female with the age range of 29-39 years-old. The level of purchase preference of the medical spa goers in terms of stress relief/relaxation, physical health, beauty service and anti-aging treatments was in very high level as perceived by the respondents. The level of service experience of medical spa goers in Davao City in terms of tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy was very high as perceived by the respondents. There is no significant relationship between purchase preference and service experience. This further means that purchase preference does not influence to the service experience and cannot affect to the satisfaction of the customers.
