Abstract
This study was designed to test the perceived level of effectiveness of educational tour of Tourism Students in University of Mindanao. Using percentage frequency, mean, t-test and Pearson-r as statistical tools in discussing the data, a total of 200 students who are purposively selected participate in the study. Results showed that 156 out of 200 respondents were female. It was also showed that in terms educational tour, tourism students have high participation in the indicators, tourism impact, events management, transportation management and tour guiding. The university shall improve or engaged the said educational tour. Whereas, very high in Tourism Impact, educational tor led to the students appreciation of tourism particularly its benefits side on the society, culture and economy. While in terms of Events Management, Transportation Management and Tour Guiding is have consistent very high results. It was therefore that there is no significant difference in the perceived level of effectiveness of educational tour to content knowledge of the students. The department shall impose educational tour that will help students to be competent and knowledgeable in tourism information’s
