Impression of employees on work training of small hotels in Davao City
Abstract
A well-functioning organization is operated by well-organized and highly
trained employees who have their own initiative and innovative mind in doing
everything for the main issue in mind, maintaining not only the image of the hotel
but the profit as well. Thus, the main objective of the study was to determine the
impression of employees on work training of small hotels in Davao City. Using a
survey questionnaire and administered it to 100 small hotel employees of
selected jotels in Davao City, the data treated by using Frequency Count,
Percentage, Mean, t-test, and ANOVA, the result manifested the status of
training under the impressions of the respondents as folows: The employees
indicated very high level of impression on work training of small hotels in Davao
City; when compared by age, there is a significant difference indicating varying
impressions on work training of small hotels in Davao City. However, there is no
significant difference on the impressions of employees on work training of small
hotels in Davao City when compared by sex, civil status, and position. The
implication of the study to the academe is emphasizing the relevance of training
among seasoned employees with one conviction in mind, a person never stop
learning new things regardless of age. The business world can make changes
on their image and income by employing a systematic and scientific way of
providing training to their employees.
