dc.description.abstract | This study examined the food safety culture in selected restaurants in
Davao City. Descriptive statistic and test of differences were utilized to come
up with the data and the following findings are disclosed: the level of food
safety culture in selected restaurants in Davao City is very high and no
significant difference in the level of food safety culture in selected restaurants
in Davao City when analyzed by sex, age, educational attainment, position
and number of years as employees. Findings revealed that selected
restaurants in Davao City practice food safety culture in their business
establishments. Moreover, restaurant employees’ demographic profile are
non-determinants in providing significant differences in the practice of food
safety culture. All in all, in the food industry, the findings imply exceptionally
critical and valuable to build the level of attention to eatery workers on the
significance of authority and hazard mindfulness, and referring to achievement
of the representative and how they added to the organization. Furthermore,
this study extends the learning of BSHRM students which they can use as
premise and reference in the practice of their chosen profession in the future.
