Abstract
This research is entitled ethical behavior and organizational commitment of employees of selected financial institutions in Bansalan Davao del Sur. This study is conducted to access and measure the ethical behavior and organizational commitment of employees of selected financial institutions in Bansalan, Davao del Sur. Specifically, it sought the demographic profile, the level of ethical behavior in terms of integrity, accountability, teamwork and commitment and the level of organizational commitment in terms of continuance commitment, normative commitment and affective commitment. The researchers aimed to determine the significant relationship between the two variables. This study is conducted using the descriptive method of research with the total of 43 employees of selected financial institutions. The results of the study based on the data and findings determine that the level of ethical behavior of employees obtained a mean score of 4.73 which is very high and the level of organizational commitment of employees obtained a mean score of 3.94 which is high. Data shows that there is no significant relationship between ethical behavior and organizational commitment of employees. In this connection the researchers recommend that the management implement team building programs in order to build wide camaraderie, to develop employee relationships and to achieve teamwork.
