On the other hand, the dependent variable of this study is academic performance. The indicators of academic performance are interest and study habits. The researchers used a quantitative non-experimental correlation method, and the statistical tools used were, Mean and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (r). The result of the computation is r- value is 0.726** whose p-value is less than 0.05. Thus, the null hypothesis is rejected. In other words, there is significant relationship between anxiety and academic performance among second year and third year BSED-Mathematics students.
