dc.description.abstractThis was conducted to determine the relationship between teachers' questioning skills and students' engagement and the domains of teachers' questioning skills that influenced students' engagement. The study adopted a descriptive- correlational non-experimental research design. It used an adapted survey instrument to elicit the needed data from the senior high school students determined thru simple random sampling. The study revealed that teachers' questioning skills were high, indicating a high level of competence in using questions for instruction. It was also found that the level of students' engagement was high, indicating a high level of participation of students in the class. Further, the study found a significant relationship between teachers' questioning skills and students' engagement. Preparing and controlling skills were the domains of teachers' questioning skills that significantly influenced students' learning engagement.
