This quantitative research study aimed to determine the significant relationship between coach-athlete relationship and the performance among athletes of UM Tagum College. Data was collected from 160 athletes of UM Tagum College, Tagum City, Davao Del Norte. Non -experimental quantitative research design utilizing correlational technique was the method used. The study deals with quantitative data; therefore, the process of gathering information is through the means of a questionnaire. Furthermore, the respondents of this research study are all athletes from all year levels with different sports, namely volleyball, basketball, athletics, sepak takraw, badminton, tennis, swimming, and dancesport. The statistical tools that were used in analyzing and interpreting the data are Mean, Pearson r, and Linear Regression analysis. Regression analysis reveals that among the domains of coach-athlete relationship, only "closeness" and "commitment" significantly influence the performance of athletes. The result implied a significant relationship between coach-athlete relationship and the performance of athletes of UM Tagum College. Thus, the sports organization may use this study to ensure that athletes continue to have a decent and positive atmosphere by creating various physical activities and programs that foster a positive attitude toward the coach and other athletes as well as enable athletes to foster a supportive and safe atmosphere for their coach-led learning and other physical engagement activities.en_US
