| dc.description.abstract | This study examines the relationships between crime prevention and police visibility. The primary goal of the study was to determine the significant influence of crime prevention and police visibility in Barangay Visayan Village, Tagum City utilizing quantitative non- experimental study with 200 persons from Barangay Visayan Village, Tagum City as respondents of the study. Mean, Pearson (r), and Multiple Regression were the statistical tools used for the data treatment. Results showed a high level of crime prevention in Barangay Visayan Village, Tagum City in terms of progress, discipline and community-safety. The study also showed a high level of police visibility in Barangay Visayan Village, Tagum City in terms of fairness, responsibility, honesty and limitation. Moreover, there was a significant relationship between crime prevention and police visibility in Barangay Visayan Village, Tagum City. All the domains of crime prevention in Barangay Visayan
Village, Tagum City influenced police visibility in Barangay Visayan Village, Tagum
City. In addition, the empirical findings show that crime prevention plays the most important role in establishing and maintaining police visibility in Barangay Visayan Village. Based on the findings of the study, we discuss possible strategies for how
