dc.description.abstract | This study sought to recognize the level of pricing strategy and profitability among selected boutiques in Panabo City. The study adopted a descriptive design and targeted selected boutique owners in Panabo City. The study employed a survey questionnaire where the selected boutique constituted in the study sample.
The data are collected by the researchers by giving a questionnaire to the target respondents to get the appropriate outcomes. The results of the research study are then studied and analyze carefully to relate the effectiveness of the pricing strategy used by the boutique owners to increase profitability. The survey was conducted last March to make conclusions and recommendations for the study.
Moreover, the statistical tool used in the interpretation of data is weighted mean. The overall mean for the level of pricing strategy for a selected boutique in Panabo City is 4.21 with the descriptive equivalent of very high which is indicated by; cost-plus pricing, cost-based pricing and value-based pricing with mean of 4.49, 3.85 and 4.29 respectively. While the overall mean for the profitability is 4.58 interpreted as very high, thus the result shows that the pricing strategy affects the profitability of the selected boutique in Panabo City.
