dc.description.abstractThis study examines the relationships between family structure and juvenile delinquency. The primary goal of the study was to determine the significant influence of family structure and juvenile delinquency in Barangay Visayan Village, Tagum City utilizing quantitative non- experimental study with 200 persons from Barangay Visayan Village, Tagum City as respondents of the study. Mean, Pearson (r), and Multiple Regression were the statistical tools used for the data treatment. Results showed a high level of family structure in Barangay Visayan Village, Tagum City in terms of social status and financial stability. The study also showed a high level of juvenile delinquency in Barangay Visayan Village, Tagum City in terms of family background and personal behavior. Moreover, there was a significant relationship between family structure and juvenile delinquency in Barangay Visayan Village, Tagum City. All the domains of family structure in Barangay Visayan Village, Tagum City influenced juvenile delinquency in Barangay Visayan Village, Tagum City. In addition, the empirical findings show that family structure plays the most important role in establishing and maintaining juvenile delinquency in Barangay Visayan Village. Based on the findings of the study, we discuss possible strategies for how family structure influences juvenile delinquency.en_US
