dc.description.abstract | This study explores nightlife tourism in Davao City, Philippines, focusing on local tourists' experiences. Nightlife tourism significantly contributes to urban economies, yet there is limited research on how nightlife environments affect tourists in Davao City. Using a phenomenological qualitative approach, in-depth interviews with ten local tourists were conducted. Findings reveal that popular spots like Roxas Night Market and KTV bars are central to Davao's nightlife, with common challenges including transportation issues, security concerns, and lack of parking. Despite these challenges, tourists prioritize social interactions and entertainment to enhance their nightlife experience. The study recommends improving transportation, security, and infrastructure to boost tourist satisfaction and economic benefits. | en_US |
