dc.description.abstractEngineers, Architects, Contractors, and other allied professionals have recommended the importance of environmental sustainability. Different professionals have different points of view on how to approach issues and provide solutions. Public housing is fundamental to developing significant environmental, economic, social, and societal improvements. Housing has a variety of functions and effects; thus, it stands to reason that sustainability is a key factor in both its production and consumption. As a result, housing may significantly impact sustainable development. The main objective of this study is to determine the community issues regarding the effects, analyze the impact and identify community concerns about how a public housing project would affect environmental sustainability. By evaluating lifestyles, living conditions, and facilities, the study examines and analyses the strengths and problems of housing development in Bansalan, Davao Del Sur, and makes recommendations for how public design can improve the situation.en_US
