dc.description.abstract | Green building design has emerged as the modern and ethical strategy in the construction sector to protect the planet from additional frightening circumstances in a world where natural resources are running out. The distinguishing characteristics of a green building are its use of sustainable materials and efficient use of water and energy resources. In remote rural areas located in Brgy. Marayag, Lupon Davao Oriental, where facilities for healthcare services are lacking. This study will design a green healthcare center in the said location. This aimed design consists of the following: architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, green concept components, and estimation of the plans. The study's main focus is on implementing green concepts to achieve sustainability and efficiency in building operation, while also taking the barangay's needs and the design's practicality and safety into account. The researchers created a green building design that met the requirements of the NSCP and DPWH Green Building Codes of 2015. The study's findings have the
potential to foster further advancements at the green healthcare facility and can serve as a guide for more research in the field. | en_US |
