dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine the correlation between technology awareness and cybercrime victimization among business owners of Small Medium enterprises in Davao City. There were 112 business owners who participated in the study from Barangay Matina Pangi, Davao City. The study used a technique with two modified variable, one independent and one dependent, was used in the study. This study employed quantitative non-experimental research using the descriptive correlation technique. A questionnaire of close-ended questions was utilized in the study for data collection. Each inquiry allows respondents to select an answer from a list corresponding to their view. The study used Mean and Pearson Correlation sig. (2- tailed). Mean was utilized to measure the level of technology awareness and cybercrime victimization among business owners of Small Medium enterprises in Davao City. On the other hand, Pearson Correlation sig. (2-tailed) was also used to determine the significant correlation between technology awareness and cybercrime victimization. The results showed that they were interpreted as neither aware of technology awareness, with a general mean of 3.62. Whereas cybercrime victimization is interpreted as not so aware with a general mean of 2.38. Moreover, the degree of the relationship between the two variables is correlation significant. This implies that technology awareness and cybercrime victimization slightly occur among business owners of Small Medium enterprises in Davao City.en_US
